Warranty and Procedures
John Michael Kitchens warrants to the original John Michael Kitchens customer that all products meet manufacturer’s specifications and will be free from defect in material and workmanship upon delivery of the product. This warranty is only valid for products used in residential applications.
Should any defect occur, John Michael Kitchens will correct the defect by replacing necessary parts for any product purchased from John Michael Kitchens or an authorized dealer, for as long as the product is under a valid warranty as listed below.
This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of the defective part at the sole discretion of John Michael Kitchens. If a part of a product becomes defective, then the part containing the defect must be sent to John Michael Kitchens within the warranty period at:

A photo of the defective part can be sent to: firstname.lastname@example.org and John Michael Kitchens will send a replacement part for an at home repair, or request that the part or product be sent back to the factory for repair at the owner’s expense.
Third Party Appliance Warranty – All appliances sold by John Michael Kitchens are warrantied by the manufacturer. Once the appliance is installed, please contact the manufacturer for service.
Fuel Outdoor Appliance Warranty – Full two-year warranty to replace any part of the product that is confirmed defective via materials or workmanship, to include igniters, burners, valves and manifolds. This warranty does not include pickup or delivery costs and service calls due to improper installation, incorrect gas flow/connection, commercial use or neglect to maintain.
Limited 2-year Warranty – John Michael Kitchens warranties all drawer slides and hinges for 2 years from the date of shipping.
Limited 5-year Warranty – John Michael Kitchens has a 5-year Limited Warranty on all cabinet exteriors.
Limited 10-year Warranty – John Michael Kitchens will warranty all cabinet bodies (excluding hinges, slides and exteriors) for 10 years from the ship date.
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied and all other obligations or liabilities related to the sale of use of John Michael Kitchens. John Michael Kitchens is not liable for and damages out of breach of warranty or breach of contract.
All implied warranties, including the warranty of merchantability and of fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the period of the express warranty stated above. In no event shall John Michael Kitchens be liable for incidental or consequential damages.
Exclusions to Warranty
Below are items that are not covered by the John Michael Kitchens Limited Lifetime Warranty:
Normal Wear and Tear – John Michael Kitchens will not warranty products in the case of normal usage, wear and tear, improper storage, misuse (intentional or accidental), improper installation, uncrating mishaps, and general product abuse.
Salt Water Damage (neglect) – Maintenance of your products is imperative to the longevity of your Outdoor Stainless Steel products. It is important to care for your products and perform routine maintenance if your products are located in a salty air environment. Commercial Applications – John Michael Kitchens does not warranty any parts or products that are installed or used in commercial applications.
Discoloration – Discoloration is a common element of cooking with Stainless Steel outdoor cooking products. John Michael Kitchens does not warranty products due to discoloration.
Surface Rust – Surface Rust forms when the Stainless Steel is exposed to air and moisture formed by oxidation. John Michael Kitchens recommends that you keep your outdoor products covered when not in use to protect from acid rain and other environmental chemicals. John Michael Kitchens does not warranty surface rusting of its products.
Damage from Shipping – The process to which you receive your kitchen delivery is imperative to the warranty. John Michael Kitchens will not warranty any damage that occurred from shipping, unless the damage is properly noted with the delivery driver on the Bill of Lading. In addition, the customer must supply John Michael Kitchens photos of the damage within 3 hours of the delivery. If the customer fails to follow the above mentioned protocol, any repairs will be at the expense of the customer, to include shipping.
Transfer – This warranty is non-transferrable and is only valid for the original customer of John Michael Kitchens, unless deemed necessary by John Michael Kitchens in writing.
Shipping – You will be notified roughly 72 business hours from the completion of your kitchen, to remit final payment. Payment is due immediately. In the event the final balance is not paid within the provided time frame, John Michael Kitchens will provide the customer with a 5-day grace period after the ship date to remit payment. It payment is not received during the provided time and grace period, then the job will be canceled and the deposit monies will be forfeited.
Storage – John Michael Kitchens will not hold your kitchen after production. There will be a 5-day grace period after the ship date. After the 5-day grace period, John Michael Kitchens will charge the customer $25/day/piece until the shipment has left the facility. This payment will be due before shipment.
Remakes/Redesigns After Signoff – It is important to ensure all of the original measurements, layouts and designs are correct before signing off. In the event the plan changes during or after production signoff, any changes will be at the expense of the customer, to include design fees, shipping and part cost. In the event a John Michael Kitchens representative made the error, then the correction will be at the cost of John Michael Kitchens.
All Sales are Final – John Michael Kitchens will not reimburse any customer for unforeseen circumstances, change of heart, or lack of proper diligence prior to purchase. All sales are final. In the event a job is canceled after a deposit is made, then the customer will forfeit the deposit.

In the event that the part or product is no longer in production or has become obsolete, John Michael Kitchens will make the repair or replacement with similar parts of equal functionality and value.
